LONDON: 10 April 2012 - Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC), the global wholesale and reinsurance broking group, has appointed Gavin Southwell as head of operations.
Previously CGSC's head of risk management, in his new role Southwell will focus on providing best practice processes and controls, and a platform from which CGSC can meet its strategic objectives. In addition, he will coordinate and develop CGSC's regional and global operations in order to deliver a better service to its clients, linking closely with the group's current major IT investments.
Southwell is a chartered accountant. Before joining CGSC in 2009 he worked in various insurance roles, most recently for Beazley and Willis after starting his career at Credit Agricole.
